We are not in-network with insurance companies. We provide superbills that clients can submit to their insurance for out of network reimbursement. Yes! We believe in the human connection with a therapist is important for clients of all ages. Children and some teens clients particularly benefit from this modality. We also offer the flexibility of video-sessions for parent session, individual adult or for some teen meetings.

Close collaboration with parents is key in effective therapy for children and teens. Juniper clinicians have a parent intake, involve parents in goal-setting and have regular progress meetings with parents.

Parents will have the opportunity to work with their provider to determine the best way to talk with their child or teen about coming in to therapy, and collaborate in creating an individualized approach.

Parent-consultation is often a great place to start. For children or teens experiencing challenges with anxiety, we also provide SPACE intervention which only involves parents participating. SPACE is an evidence-based intervention that helps parents to understand the cycle of anxiety and avoidance, and to target accommodations that may be prolonging a child's anxiety.

The length of time needed for effective therapy varies with each individual. Your clinician will talk with you about their anticipated timeline. It may take your clinician some time to understand the problem, get to know you, and determine what steps are needed.

You will be matched with a clinician who has skills that would be most appropriate for your concerns and goals. Your clinician will talk with you about the options and together you can decide upon the best treatment approach.
