Amy Woerner, Ph.D.

Dr. Woerner works with preschool and school age children, teens, and their parents. Her approach is collaborative strengths based, and trauma informed, drawing from a range of evidence based practices.
Dr. Woerner integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based approaches, and play therapy when working with children and families. She is certified in providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), which is aimed at helping parents better manage disruptive behaviors in their young children (ages 2-7). Dr. Woerner highly values working collaboratively with parents, teachers and school staff, and other providers to help children and teens thrive in all environments.
She also offers IQ testing for private school admissions.
