Dr. Eckel specializes in the evaluation and treatment of preschoolers, children, and teens with selective mutism, a focus she has maintained since 2004. She also has extensive experience working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, social challenges, communication and relationship difficulties, learning and attention concerns, and significant life transitions. Her work is grounded in evidence‑based treatment approaches and a collaborative partnership with children and their families.
