Franny Thompson, Ph.D.

Dr. Thompson works with preschool and school age children, teens, their parents, and individual adults.
She takes a holistic and developmental approach to therapy, incorporating social, educational, and developmental systems. She draws on several evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills training, and play therapy when working with children. She is passionate about supporting children and teens through life transitions and the challenges that arise during growth and development.
Dr. Thompson values collaboration with parents as well as professionals involved in a child’s care. She approaches each case with a flexible mindset to meet the unique needs of each person and family. She is caring, supportive, and warm and she focuses on developing trusting and non-judgmental relationships with her clients. Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Psychological Association and Psi Chi.
